Scheduling FAQs

When can I begin scheduling for a session?

The online scheduling will generally come available approximately 3-4 weeks prior to the beginning of the session. Please be advised that you may not see the entire session as open and available all at once, as the system does not allow us to schedule more than 90 days in advance. That being said, more spots will become available for scheduling nearly every day until the close date of the session.

I can't wait for the next session!

If you are experiencing a Driver’s Ed emergency, please complete this form and we will do everything that we can to get you into the current session. Please be aware that this is based completely on availability, both ours and yours, so the more availability you list in the form, the more likely we can help.

Session FAQs

1. What are sessions?

We have divided the year into 3 distinct sessions, Spring, Summer, and Fall. We have done this to help reduce wait times, improve transparency, and to give students a real expectation of when they will be able to schedule appointments.

When you choose your session and enroll in the program, you are reserving a spot during that session which will allow you to schedule in that timeframe. You will no longer be competing with students who may have enrolled several months ago, as the spots are reserved with each enrollment, and we do not sell more spots than what are available in the session. Does this guarantee that you will be driving in the first couple of days in the session? No it does not. You will still need to schedule you appointments via the online scheduler, but the process of finding suitable appointments should be much, much easier than it has been in the past.

2. What if I do not have a permit yet?

If you have not yet earned your permit at the BMV, it is strongly recommended that you sign up for a session that starts at least a couple of months in advance to give yourself time to get the permit. We cannot legally provide behind the wheel lessons to any individual without a permit or other credential that allows driving privileges in Indiana. If you have questions in regards to this, please be certain to contact us prior to enrolling so that we can make sure you will be able to get the most from the program.

3. What happens if I do not complete all of the hours during the session?

All drive hours expire at the end of the session that they are a part of. There are no refunds for unused drive hours, and packages cannot be transferred out of a session after it has begun.
